Ayat ul kursi ‘Allâh! none has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to His creatures in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.’ 2:255 |

POPULAR QURANIC VERSES AND HADITH Alhamdulillah, there are so many Hadith and verses from the Quran to choose from when creating an Islamic painting. For those who find it difficult to decide on which ayah to use, we have created a list of the most popularly used Hadith, and Quranic verses for our artwork. The Quranic Verses we use in our work have been selected from the Noble Quran, translated by Dr Mohammad Muhsin Khan. The Majority of Hadith literature has been taken from Sahihal Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. We recommend you look at the Imam Nawawi’s Forty Hadith (ra) and Riyadh as Saliheen; two Hadith collections which focus on a Muslim’s ethics, manners and conduct. ‘Purity is half of faith. Alhamdu-lillah, fills the scales, and Subhana-Allah and Alhamdu-lillah fill that which is between heaven and earth. Prayer is light; charity is a proof; patience is illumination; and the Quran is an argument for or against you. The messenger of Allah (saw) said; ‘Do not hate one another, do not be jealous of one another and O Allah’s worshippers! Be brothers! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert his Muslim brother for more than three days’. (Bukhari) |
